Homicide suspect remains on the run; Detroit Police asking for help

 


DETROIT — Detroit Police is warning the public of an individual wanted for a late night homicide that occurred on Wednesday, December 28, near  Grand River Drive and W Outer Drive.


At approximately 10:42pm, Detroit Police responded to the area for a shooting, and officers located one victim, identified as Mrs. Golden, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.



Mrs. Golden was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.


An unidentified man approached Mrs. Golden, produced a handgun, and shot her in the chest before stealing her vehicle and other valuables that belong to her.


The suspect fled the scene in the victims dark charcoal gray 2018 Dodge Journey with a MI License Plate of DYN-1663.


The suspect is armed with a handgun, and appears to be a black male, wearing a black jacket, gloves, and dark colored shoes.
