Police investigating after man commits suicide on traffic stop in Clinton Township

 

FRASER — Fraser Police are receiving help from Clinton Township Police after a man committed suicide on a traffic stop near Garfield and 15 Mile Roads on Sunday.

Fraser Police Officers responded to the 34000 block of Mulvey Road around 6:30pm for a call in which the man had a gun and shot a round into the wall before leaving the home in a vehicle.

Officers located that vehicle on Garfield and initiated a traffic stop - and the vehicle stopped north of 15 Mile in Clinton Township.

The man shot himself prior to officers approaching the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased.

There is a large police presence as the investigation continues at both scenes.
