NEW HAVEN - An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a train in New Haven on Tuesday evening.
Macomb County Sheriff Deputies responded to Main and Victoria Streets around 8:45 p.m. after receiving a call of the incident, and deputies arrived and located the man suffering from critical injuries.
Despite CPR being performed, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Richmond Lenox EMS and the New Haven Fire Department also responded to the scene.
The train is currently stopped while the Sheriffs Office investigates the fatal incident.
