EASTPOINTE — An investigation is underway after a quadruple shooting left two people dead outside of a shoe store in Eastpointe on Saturday afternoon.

Around 2:45 p.m., Eastpointe Police received multiple calls of shots fired and wounded victims outside of Footlocker, at 8 Mile Road and Kelly.

A male was pronounced dead at the scene, with two additional males being taken to St. John’s Hospital in Detroit. A fourth victim was later found. One of the three wounded victims ended up dying from their injuries at the hospital.

The shooter fled the scene in a black sedan, believed to have left westbound from the scene. The suspect is described as a black female wearing all black clothing with a red or pink scarf.

Police say that the situation started when a fight began between the suspect and victims, who know one another. The suspect then retrieved a firearm from a vehicle and shot four people.

Eastpointe Police say that there is no threat to the public.

The investigation is ongoing and anybody with information should call Eastpointe Police.
