Warren Police investigating after man shoots into house; Second shooting of the morning

 


WARREN — The Warren Police Department is investigating a second shooting that occurred in the city on Monday morning.


Officers were dispatched to the 26000 block of Thomas Drive shortly after 1:00 a.m. after receiving several 911 calls of shots fired.


Officers arrived at the scene and learned that an unknown male subject on foot fired at the house. At least two shell casings were located along with a bullet hole near a window on the house.


Nobody was injured and officers are actively searching the area for the gunman who is believed to still be on foot.


A Center Line Public Safety K9 conducted a track but was unable to locate the suspect.


This is an active and fluid scene.


Warren Police is also investigating a shooting at Groesbeck Hwy and Schoenherr Rd that occurred just after midnight leaving several spent casings on the ground with multiple buildings and cars struck by gunfire.


No suspects are in custody for that shooting either as of 1:30 a.m.
