ST. CLAIR SHORES — A man is dead after being hit by a semi-truck on Interstate 94 early Tuesday morning in Saint Clair Shores.
St. Clair Shores Police and Michigan State Police responded to WB I-94 at 10 Mile Road around 2:00 a.m. after receiving a 911 call of the vehicle versus pedestrian accident.
Officers arrived and the male pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. F/Lt. Mike Shaw of MSP says that this appears to be a suicide.
No further information is available and the freeways westbound was closed for hours for the investigation at the scene.
