WARREN — Warren Police is currently searching for a vehicle connected to a shooting at Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday that left one man in critical condition.
Police say that it happened around 7:40 p.m., when officers responded to the at the 24700 block of Campbell Road.
Two subjects approached a white sedan where a brief conversation between the two subjects and the occupants of the sedan occurred, before the two began running away from the sedan.
An occupant of the sedan then fired at both subjects and struck one several times in the arm and lower extremities. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The sedan fled the scene but officers recovered a firearm, shell casings, and other evidence of the shooting.
This is not believed to be a random incident, according to police.
