ROSEVILLE — Police in Roseville are investigating a fatal motorcycle-involved crash that occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
Officers responded to 12 Mile and I-94 for the crash where they began CPR on the operator, male in his 20s, but he was soon pronounced dead at the scene.
A Jeep involved in the crash remained at the scene and the driver is allegedly a Detroit Police Officer who was on his way to work at the time of the crash.
Witnesses recall the motorcycle traveling near 50mph before t-boning the Jeep.
12 Mile Road as well as at least one ramp to the freeway are closed while the investigation takes place.
