Sheriff’s Office seeks suspects wanted for brutal assault in Harrison Township last weekend

HARRISON TWP — The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a brutal assault that happened outside of a bar last weekend in Harrison Township.

Deputies responded to the Sandbar on Jefferson Avenue north of Crocker Blvd. late Saturday night, July 27, after receiving 911 calls of an ongoing physical altercation.

Deputies arrived and located a man, identified by the name of Jamieson, at the scene with serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital with blunt force trauma to the head and is fortunately making his recovery.

The alleged suspects are known to Jamieson and attacked him after he left the bar and was walking back to his motorcycle. He describes them in a public Facebook post as his ex-girlfriend, her brother, current boyfriend, mother, and numerous other unidentified subjects.

“They beat me to the ground slamming my head into the concrete over and over and over again for nearly 10 minutes straight,” Jamieson said in the post. He also says that the group stole his phone and caused more than $2,000 in damages to his motorcycle.

Jamieson says that the group of suspects attempted to run him over as they went to flee the scene, but luckily failed as his motorcycle was in the way of their vehicle and himself.

Jamiesons injuries include possible fractures in his eye socket, cheekbone, and jaw.

While the suspects remain wanted, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office has detectives working the investigation with arrests warrants issued to the known perpetrators, according to Jamieson.
