LAKE ST. CLAIR — Three boaters were rescued on Lake St. Clair Friday evening after their boat began to take on water.
The incident occurred while the Coast Guards Detroit Sector was conducting its frequent air training around 5:30pm and they received a report of a boat taking on water with 3 POB (persons on board).
Coast Guard assets responded and were able to assist the boaters in getting back to land.
The exact location of where the water rescue took place wasn’t given, other than on the lake.
