Fight at Macomb Mall involving a firearm leads to shoppers fleeing stores, large police response

 


ROSEVILLE — For the second straight day, shoppers at the Macomb Mall were struck with a large police presence - many of the shoppers running from the mall after a fight on Friday.


Around 6:30pm, Roseville Police responded to the mall on a 911 call of a man with a gun.


A group of 5-10 involved males, one of which armed, ran through Dicks Sporting Goods and fled in a vehicle just before police arrived.


Surveillance footage received by police indicated that a fight between two groups of people broke out and a subject brandished a handgun during the altercation.


Fraser Police assisted Roseville Police and the investigation remains ongoing.


Witnesses should call the Roseville Police Department.
