CHESTERFIELD TWP — Chesterfield Township Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that left a 26-year-old man from Highland dead on Monday evening.
Around 8:00pm, Chesterfield Twp Police and New Baltimore Police responded to County Line Road south of 26 Mile Road after receiving a call of a motorcycle that had crashed.
New Baltimore Police Officers arrived to the scene and CPR on the man was in progress, but he was declared deceased at the scene by the Chesterfield Township Fire Department.
Chesterfield Township Police said that the motorcycle was traveling northbound when it lost control and left the roadway before striking a tree.
County Line Road was closed for several hours, but has reopened at 10:50pm.
