One rescued, one remains missing after jetskis capsize in Lake St. Clair

 


CHESTERFIELD TWP — “The Chesterfield Twp. Police Department is currently searching for Jonathan Kloss. He is a 21 year old white male of Chesterfield Twp. who has been missing since 8:45 PM this evening. He and his friend 19 year old Hunter Lentine, resident of New Baltimore, rode their Jet Skis onto Lake St Clair’s Anchor Bay from the boat launch located at Brandenburg Park located at 50050 Jefferson Ave in Chesterfield Twp. The Jet Skis were located capsized and floating in Anchor bay off Brandenburg Park. Hunter Lentine was rescued from the water and is currently receiving medical care at an area hospital. First responders are currently searching Anchor Bay for Jonathon Kloss. If you have any information about the location of Jonathan Kloss please immediately, contact the Chesterfield Twp. Police Dispatch at 586-949-2322. The Chesterfield Twp. Police Dept. is being assisted by the Chesterfield Twp. Fire Dept., Ira Twp. Marine Rescue, Border Patrol, Algonac City Marine Rescue, Coast Guard, Macomb County Sheriff Dept. Marine Division, and the Michigan State Police.”
