STERLING HEIGHTS — Police in Sterling Heights are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian accident that left 18 Mile Road closed east of Dequindre for hours Friday night.
Sterling Heights Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene around 8:00 PM, in front of the Kroger Gas Station.
An elderly male was taken to Troy Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a sedan on 18 Mile Road.
The crash remains under further investigation, and the roadway has just reopened.
