One wounded after stabbing in Mount Clemens; Suspect on the run

 


MT. CLEMENS — The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that sent a woman to the hospital on Tuesday night.


Police responded to the 30 block of Park Street shortly after 10:30pm after the victim had called 911 reporting that she had been stabbed.


The 41-year-old victim was transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital with several stab wound to the upper-body, including superficial wounds to the face. She is expected to survive.


The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. He is described as a short black male  with a short afro, wearing baggy blue jeans, a red shirt and black hoodie. 


The Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit responded to the scene but the suspect hasn’t been apprehended as of midnight. 


The investigation remains active and ongoing.
