One injured in isolated shooting incident in Roseville

ROSEVILLE — One person was sent to the hospital on Saturday afternoon after being shot in the neck, according to Roseville Police.

Police responded to Eastwick Townhomes, near Martin Road and Gratiot Avenue, around 12:30pm after receiving a call from a woman who stated that she shot her niece. The woman also stated that her niece had stabbed her prior to the shooting.

Police arrived to the scene and located a woman in her 30s with a gunshot wound to the neck, and she was transported to St. Johns Hospital on Moross.
