Bomb threat forces evacuation, search of Memphis Jr/Sr High School

MEMPHIS — Memphis Jr/Sr High School was evacuated by law enforcement Tuesday afternoon after receiving a bomb threat, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.

At 2:41pm, the sheriffs office said that the campus was deemed safe after an initial search, and K9 search.

Students had returned to the building after the all-clear was given, but parents should monitor their emails for dismissal information, as well as other information regarding the threat.
