LENOX TWP — The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred on Sunday night at the Millstone Pond Mobile Home complex.
Just before 10:25pm, deputies were dispatched to the 57000 block of Millstone Pond S for a report of a subject not breathing.
It was quickly learned that the subject had been stabbed several times and was unconscious.
Lenox Township Fire Department personnel arrived and began CPR, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect, a 24-year-old Lenox Township male, was arrested and transported to the Macomb County Jail.
Evidence technicians and other investigators responded to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
