Gunshot victim found laying near Mt. Clemens intersection; Sheriff’s Office investigating

 


MOUNT CLEMENS — The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a male was found with a gunshot wound laying near the intersection of northbound Gratiot Avenue and N Walnut Street around 9:54pm Tuesday night.


Deputies responded to the scene after receiving a call of a male laying down and bleeding from the torso area in the left travel lane of northbound Gratiot.


The male, 32-years-old, was taken to McLaren Macomb Hospital with a gunshot wound to the torso. He is in stable condition.


Michigan State Police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a K9 track of the area. Multiple roadways in the area were shut down for the investigation.
