Stranger Danger incident prompts investigation by Warren Police on Friday

WARREN — The Warren Police Department is investigating a stranger danger situation that occurred Friday morning, according to a letter sent to parents by the principal of Pearl Lean Elementary.

The letter states that a 4th grade student was approached by three males in a yellow rental-type moving truck at the northwest corner of Gruenburg and Girard Streets, while she was walking to school.

“She did the right thing by not approaching them, yelling for help with a LOUD voice and running to a safe place, our school,” principal Keener said in the letter.

School administrators called Warren Police who are now investigating the incident.
