STERLING HEIGHTS — Sterling Heights Police were involved in an officer-involved shooting Thursday night after a vehicle led them on a pursuit in a residential neighborhood.
An officer attempted to stop the vehicle at Carbon Drive and 15 Mile Road around 11:15 PM. The vehicle fled southbound into the subdivision.
The pursuit continued in the subdivision until approximately 11:22 PM when shots were fired at the end of Forrer Court, west of Amsterdam Drive .
The suspect was shot multiple times and was transported to the hospital.
This is a developing situation.
