Police searching for multiple suspects wanted for burglary; shots fired during the incident

 

MACOMB TWP — Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Thursday night, deputies responded to the 19000 block of Mapleton Street for multiple reports of shots fired and a female running while screaming for help.

Deputies learned that multiple males entered a home and robbed the residents before fleeing with stolen items. 

During the burglary, shots were fired. Dispatch audio indicates that the victim fired at the suspects. A window at the home has been shot out as well.

K9 is on scene searching for the suspects and the public is asked to stay vigilant and avoid the area.

Trooper 2 responded and has since cleared the scene. EMS was also staged, but has cleared the scene. None of the victims are injured.
