Macomb County Sheriff’s Office investigating a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian accident on Gratiot Avenue

 

MACOMB TWP — In the morning hours of Sunday, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Gratiot Avenue just north of Hall Road for reports of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian.

Deputies arrived at the scene and requested Gratiot to be shut down due to the extent of the scene.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further information surrounding the incident remains unknown, and barricades are up while accident reconstruction takes place.
