Suspect in custody after homicide, stabbing in Roseville, SCS

 


UPDATE: Warren Police located the suspect shortly after noon and he was taken into custody without incident. Arrested at Cadillac Ave and Van Dyke.


Around 6:00 a.m on Wednesday, Roseville Police responded to Belle Tire at Gratiot and Little Mack for a report of a female on the ground with injuries.


Officers arrived at the scene and located a deceased female with an alleged stab wound to the upper body.


Around 6:30 a.m., Saint Clair Shores Police were dispatched to the 22000 block of Barton after receiving a 911 call from a man reporting he had been stabbed at a bus stop near 12 Mile Road and Harper Avenue.


Both Roseville Police and SCS Police are investigating the stabbings. The SCS victim in the SCS incident told police that he did not know the suspect.



The suspect is described as a younger blonde male, approx. 6 feet tall, 160-180lbs,  and last seen wearing a red sweater and black pants. He is believed to be driving a black Chevy HHR. Weapon described as a 4-inch fixed blade style hunting knife with a black handle and black blade.


South Lake, Lake Shore, and Roseville School Districts were advised to enter a secure status and to keep kids inside of their respective buildings throughout the day.
