SHELBY TWP — Around 6:30pm, Shelby Township Police and Fire Departments responded to 23 Mile Road just east of Schoenherr Road for a vehicle crash.
Two vehicles were involved and the drivers of each had to be extricated by the fire department.
One patient was taken to Henry Ford Macomb in an unknown condition, and another individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Shelby Township Police Accident Reconstructionists and drones were at the scene to conduct an investigation.
As of 9:45pm, the roadway remained closed.
