ROSEVILLE — Late Sunday evening, Roseville Police responded to Victory Inn near Little Mack Ave and Masonic Blvd for a shooting.
One victim was located. The 30-year-old male victim, of Marysville, sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest and was not conscious, but breathing. This victim was taken to McLaren where they were pronounced deceased.
A 28-year-old male, of Clinton Township, is in custody after contacting police immediately after the shooting. He was lodged at Macomb County Jail and is awaiting charges.
Dispatch audio indicates a 9mm handgun stolen out of Chicago was recovered.
Investigators indicated that a domestic incident between a male and a female was occurring in the parking lot. The suspect and victim then confronted one another, which led to a single gunshot being fired.
