Multiple different vehicle crashes leave several hospitalized on Friday

 



Friday was not a good day on the roadways for some. The day started, and ended with some serious accidents.


This morning, Shelby Township Police responded to 21 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue for an accident involving two cars. Each car only had one occupant, and one person was hospitalized, where they were last listed in very serious condition.


Around the same timeframe, Warren Police had a two vehicle crash at Mound Road and 10 Mile Road. Investigation revealed that a red Jeep Commander disregarded a red light and struck a pickup truck.


The pickup truck was occupied by an adult and two children. All three were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive. The lone occupant of the Jeep was taken to a level 1 trauma center where they were last reported in critical condition.


Clinton Township Police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on Friday night on Harper Avenue between 14 and 15 Mile Roads. The roadway was closed as police conduct accident reconstruction investigation. Exact word on injuries wasn’t immediately reported.


Chesterfield Township Police responded to a three car crash on 23 Mile Road at DW Seaton Drive around 7:00pm. At least one individual was transported from the scene by Medstar, their condition unknown.


Chesterfield Township Police also had a crash Friday afternoon on 23 Mile Road just west of the I-94 overpass. Nobody was seriously hurt in this crash.


Roseville Police responded to a rear-end accident around 4:00pm near the intersection of Gratiot Avenue and 11 Mile Road. Nobody was seriously hurt in this crash either.


As we look back just to Thursday night, closer to midnight, there was a few accidents as well.


Thursday night, New Baltimore Police responded to 24 Mile Road at Baker Road for a vehicle crash with no injuries.


Around the same time, a crash occurred on Green Street near the downtown area of the city, with one taken to the hospital.


There was also a motorcycle involved crash at 26 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue on Thursday night. The rider was taken to the hospital in serious condition, however no update was received since the crash had occurred.
