Altercation leads to a single gunshot in Roseville, no victims; suspect remains on the run

ROSEVILLE — Shortly after 4:00pm on Friday, Roseville Police responded to Pinehurst St and Longfellow St for reports of a man who fired a gun.


According to dispatch audio, two men were arguing at the corner of the intersection when one of them pulled a semi-auto handgun and fired a single round before fleeing the scene on foot. Police recovered one shell casing at the scene.


A K-9 unit conducted a track but the track was later terminated with nothing found.

The second individual involved in the situation also ran from the scene and wasn’t located.


St. Johns Hospital on Moross received an uncooperative gunshot wound victim shortly after the incident unfolded, however a Roseville police officer had went to the hospital and determined that the male was shot in Detroit.


It’s not believed that there are any victims and police continue to investigate.
