DETROIT — Around 5:45pm, Eastpointe and Detroit Police responded to a shots fired report on the southeast corner of 8 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue.
Eastpointe officers were first to arrive on scene, and located a male with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body in the parking lot.
Officers provided aide to the victim until EMS arrived on scene, who transported the victim who is in critical condition.
Detroit Police took over the investigation site and haven’t release details about whether anybody is in custody for the shooting.
No further details have been released.
