STERLING HEIGHTS —Around 9:15am, Sterling Heights Police responded to Parkside East Apartments, at Utica Road and Van Dyke, on reports of a domestic dispute.
Officers arrived on scene and began to hear gunfire coming from inside a unit.
The suspect barricaded himself inside of the unit.
The Macomb County SWAT Team assisted Sterling Heights Police and the situation has been resolved.
Sterling Heights Police continue to investigate.
