Roseville Police searching for suspect who fled while armed

 

ROSEVILLE — Roseville Police are searching for a male who led officers on multiple foot chases throughout the area of 12 and Gratiot, on Wednesday night.

Officers deployed a taser on the suspect inside of Walmart, but the suspect was able to get away.

K-9 is on scene to assist in the search. Police believes the suspect left the store and fled southbound through Florence Street.

Martin Road at O’neil Road is closed due to the search. Michigan Street is also closed at 12 Mile Road.

The suspect is described as 5'6" tall, approx. 160lbs, with an adidas hoodie.

Officers recovered the suspects jacket which had a handgun in it.

Residents in the area should lock their doors and report suspicious activity to 911.
