EASTPOINTE — Shortly after 3:00pm on Tuesday, Macomb County Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) was requested for assistance on an incident on David Avenue, near Semrau Avenue in Eastpointe.
Around 10:30pm, members of the SWAT team made entry on the home after attempting some sort of negotiations.
The nature of the situation and the outcome remains unclear.
Around 10:40pm, the situation was de-escalated and no longer an active situation, however the investigation into the incident remains active.
