CLINTON TWP — On Thursday, November 3, officers with the Detroit Police Department were flagged down near 7 Mile Road and Greenfield Road, where they were notified of a woman who had been shot inside of a vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle, a gray 2021 Range Rover, as well as a woman in her 20s, of Clinton Township.
The woman was suffering from gunshot wounds to the hip and both legs. There was also zip ties around her legs and ankles.
Officers say that the vehicle was also stolen out of Clinton Township.
Police are saying that the victim was kidnapped sometime earlier in the day.
The victim is currently hospitalized in serious condition, according to police.
The investigation was turned over to the Clinton Township Police Department and no further information was released.
