Anchor Bay boys soccer has won its third consecutive district championship as the Tars defeated the Chippewa Valley Big Reds on Wednesday by a score of 2-1.
The Tars goals came from DiLorenzo and Labaz. The Big Reds goal from Sevaj.
The Tars recently defeated the Eisenhower Eagles to become Macomb Area Conference Red Division champions for the third straight year.
The team, coached by Nate Williams, has a record of 14-3-3 on this season, and they hope to extend the wins in regionals, which begins next week.
On October 25, the Tars will play Fraser at 7:30pm, at Rochester Adam High School, for the regional 4 semifinal.
