'Peeping Tom' arrested after leading Warren Police on short chase; connected to several other incidents in the city

 


WARREN — On October 11, around 11:00pm, Warren Police received multiple calls of a man looking into vehicles and peeping through home windows.


The reports began coming in from the Ryan Road and 11 Mile Road area.


Warren Police Special Operations Unit responded to the area to setup surveillance.


The man was located by police on a bicycle which turned into a short foot pursuit, and the suspect ultimately being taken into custody.


The 57-year-old Ferndale man is believed to have attempted to break into vehicles that night in Warren.


Warren Police says that they believe that this man is connected to eight other incidents that recently occurred throughout their city.


The man has a lengthy criminal history with past charges related to these types of crimes. 


The Macomb County Prosecutors Office will review evidence and bring up charges on Wednesday.
