ST CLAIR SHORES — Around 7:45am on Friday morning, the Detroit Regional Communications Center received a 911 call of a deceased female on the freeway.
St. Clair Shores Police and Michigan State Police were sent to search the freeway and located the body near 8 Mile Road.
Michigan State Police says that the body was that of a young female who suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage and has information to help authorities is asked to call 248-584-5740.
