Bomb Threat leads to arrest of former New Haven High School student; Sheriff’s Office

 


NEW HAVEN — The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that it is investigating a social media threat made to New Haven High School.


According to the sheriff’s office, a former student of the school, 27-years-old, has been arrested.


The threat included the text “blow the school up.”


New Haven Community Schools is currently closed due to power outages, however, the Sheriff’s Office is searching the campus and has not located any bombs or weapons.


This remains an active investigation.
