Search underway for man who randomly shot multiple people in Detroit; multiple fatalities

 

UPDATE: Subject in custody.

DETROIT — Detroit Police and Michigan State Police are investigating multiple shooting scenes in the cities west side.

Sunday morning, police were called to multiple blocks of 7 Mile for multiple reports of gunfire.

Police located victims at 7 Mile and Wyoming, 7 Mile and Pennington, and 7 Mile and Livernois. 

At least three people are confirmed deceased and it’s unclear if there are anymore victims.

At this time, there is no connection between the suspect and the victims. Police say that this suspect pictured above went into the neighborhood and randomly began shooting people.

The suspect remains on the run.
