ROYAL OAK — On Saturday night, Royal Oak Police received several calls of gunshots at Emagine Theater (200 N Main Street).
The reports led to dozens of officers rushing to the scene in minutes and clearing the building with rifles.
Royal Oak Police were able to investigate and determine that fireworks were being set-off just outside of the movie theater and that no shooting took place.
Nobody was injured at the scene.
