CHESTERFIELD TWP — On Monday, Chesterfield Police responded to the Aspen Creek Apartment Complex on 23 Mile Road east of I-94 after a report of a gunshot victim.
Officers arrived on scene and located the wounded male. EMS transported him to the hospital in an unknown condition. He had a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police say that the investigation revealed no suspects and no criminal activity.
The shooting was deemed accidental and police provided no further information.
