Warren Police found deceased female during welfare check at home; Manner of death undetermined

WARREN — Warren Police responded to the area of Sherman Avenue and Sharrow Avenue for a welfare check on a woman.

Officers made entry into the home and found the 31-year-old female deceased with a weapon near her body.

Nobody else was inside of the home, however, police say that the home is a family home.

The cause of death is unknown, but could be a homicide or suicide given the weapons location to her body, police say.

The investigation remains ongoing
