Vehicle and items belonging to missing woman from Wixon recovered in Marquette; she remains missing

 

MARQUETTE, MI — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from Wixom Police that a female who was reported missing possibly traveled to the upper peninsula and was threatening self harm.

Wixom Police provided the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office with critical information in hopes to locate the female.

The female is described as 31-year-old Olivia Lauren Ernst.

On June 26, a Marquette County deputy located the vehicle that Ernst was using to travel. Along with the vehicle, several personal belongings were left behind. These pieces of evidence were located on County Road KO off of County Road 550.

The United States Coast Guard was requested to search nearby waters. The lake and shoreline were searched thoroughly from vessel to aircraft and nothing was found.
